Fields of Grey
03:30
|
|
||
Along the ridges cracks the skin
Freeing all the dark mulberry wine
Impregnating the ground
The endless falls
Give birth to knotty trees
In the fields of red
Spring wounded flowers
Over the bony mountains
Spread the cotton stems
And the serene horizon
In the pale curves of hazy valleys
Rush your hands softness
In the fields of white
Sail the shivering wind
From the grey ponds
Picking up few drops
Of a liquid sleep
The gardener enjoy his fields of plenty
Harvesting freckles and leaves of foam
In the fields of grey
We can finally surrender
Deep down is running wild
Deep down is running life
Deep down time and loam
This land is the only one I know
This land is the only one I own

Straight Lines
04:33
|
|
||
Let me walk
On a straight line to the sky
On a tightrope on life's edge
On the infinite trail of thorns
In all their eyes, lines biting their tails
Like ouroboros circling All
But all was never one, and alone I remain
When I walk, I walk alone
Let me drink
The dew on the forests lips
The rain under your eyelid
The liquorish cup of regrets
In all their lies, snakes biting their tails
Coiling round upon themselves
But all was never one, and alone I remain
When I drink, I drink alone
Let me rise and run
Let me stumble and tumble
On a straight line to the sky
Let me dance
The blue moonrays farewell
The late dandelion wandering
On the infinite trail of time
In all their lives, thoughts biting their tails
Like dusty rings ringing hollow
But all was never one, and alone I remain
When I dance, I dance alone
Let me rise and run
Let me stumble and tumble
On a straight line to the sky
When I sing, I sing alone

The North Wind
04:11
|
|
||
Deserted nests and quiet skies
Where are all birds gone to ?
Barren seeds and acid buds
All secrets burried
Still seas, crumbled trees
Follow the North Wind where it falls
All is so noisy
Who can listen to the Earth breathe now ?
Full of bitter air
Full of angry mouths
Still trees, crumbled seas
Follow the North Wind where it falls
On cave walls, puddles or faces
No more painting
Colors have faded in the dirt
The dark velvet waves
turned into feasts of flesh
The burnt tide
turned into bundles of white
And the crimson tears of the Plain
Colors have faded in the dirt
Shores retreating
Before a gravel army
A rusty forest of steel
Grieving for the green
Still hearts, crumbled eyes
Follow the North Wind where it falls
Where are sleeping our fossilized souls

Unconscious skies
03:00
|
|
||
I take off my shoes, lace them up together
And throw them in the willow tree
They sway softly
To remind me I'm free
My barefeet dive into the rubble of soft dead leaves
I walk
I release the playful ribbons from my hair
And tie them to the nodding reeds
They fly lightly
To remind me I'm free
The sleeping pebbles opening their way through men's roots
I float
I remove the dress woven by all mothers
And lay it down on a blue oat bed
It rustles scarcely
To remind me I'm free
Pins and threads don't hold me no more to the ground
I drift
I hang skin and bones to the unconscious skies
My thoughts scattering in splinters
Spears piercing blackness
Remind me I'm gone

Loneliness
05:37
|
|
||
Your coal veins and straw hands
Coal veins and empty eyes
Celestial watchman of fields
Behold the worlds' fall, scarecrow
In a quiet despair you face
All those wasted lives, and I stand there
Taste of iron and salt on my lips
No harvest but blackbirds
Dancing on your battlefield
You eat the fruits of centuries
Swing with the electric moon
Vultures have already pecked your grains
Leaving only dryness, I stand there
Taste of iron and salt on my lips
You are loosing your fight, scarecrow
Crawling hopes dripping in forgiveness
Leaving only dryness, I stand there
Taste of iron and salt on my lips
Your coal veins and blind legs
Coal veins and crippled tongue
Old soul by all forgotten
A funeral drone from your chest
Fragments of a collapsed swarming
Taste of you in my thoughts, I stand there
Could you recognize a beating heart
All those wasted lives, and I stand there
Taste of iron and salt on my lips
Could you recognize a beating heart

Blue Winter Air
04:55
|
|
||
Touch me in a breath
Breathe me in a blow
Run with me through the drizzle
Mash up heath and hailstones
To draw streams of diamonds
Build me a fire
Knitting shadows and smiles
In unfailing stitches
Build me a fire
Whose bare chants lick the rim
Whose ripples echo beyond
Hold me in a breath
Breathe me in a gust
Play with me in the veering fog
Haunt the rain that quench our thirst
Knead clouds to feed our looks
Build me a sky
Deep grey in the night veil
White cold in the lark's song
Build me a sky
Vast as the mountain laugh
Wild as the grizzly roar
Have me in a breath
Breathe me in a sigh
Sleep with me an endless day
Pluck the slumber from my eyes
And give a rest to moonlight
Build me a bed
Out of wood and water
Carved in blossom bones
Build me a bed
To wait for dawn with you
In the blue winter air
Touch me, hold me, have me, breathe me
Until one day we empty bed, sky and fire
Come to me, come to me
Come true

Palimpsest
03:15
|
|
||
There's a hole
A hole in the ground
A deep hole in the ground
Where I'm unarmed
Where ivy leaves a wet cold in my guts
When I can't push away its fingers
I've hidden these bygone days deep in the ground
I've hidden this bygone hole between limbo and light

The Day I Killed A
02:14
|
|
||
The day is blue
The day is bright
With unreal eyes
And heart of mist
I knew you'd come
The sun is blue
The sun is bright
I clear my mind
And hold my tears
The time has come
My eye is blue
My eye is bright
Slowly fading
Traces of your being
You never were
You'll never be
Here the story ends
Here my love burns
